Vikram Is Set To Head For Mollywood

Vikram is set to head for Mollywood again. After much speculation about doing a Mollywood movie, Tamil superstar Vikram has decided to give it a go. He will play the lead in the yet to be titled film to be directed by Roshan Andrews.

Roshan, who is an admirer of Vikram, had met him last year at a function organised by a private channel. A few weeks ago, the duo met again at a private function, where Vikram asked Roshan to suggest some meaningful plots so that he could make a visit again to Malayalam cinema. Roshan e-mailed the synopsis of a thread suggested by his writer duo Bobby-Sanjai.

Vikram immediately fell for the wonderful plot line and immediately invited the director and the writers to his house in Chennai.

After a day-long session in which Vikram exhibited the humblest of etiquettes despite being a reigning superstar, he agreed to do the project. And when Roshan asked him about the remuneration, Vikram is said to have told Roshan, “I will not take a single paisa for the project. Let it be an offering to the learned Malayali audience”.

The director and his crew seem to be excited with the priced catch and have started working on it. The project will begin in early 2011.
