Trisha Success In Her Noble Mission

Trisha is unperturbed by the not-so-encouraging response to her first-ever Hindi film in “Khatta Metha”, directed by her mentor Priyadarshan.

Incidentally, it was Priyadarshan who also introduced Trisha in Tamil films too with ‘Lesa Lesa’ opposite Shaam and Madhavan nine years ago.

Trisha has been approached by PETA (an international body which supports preserving animals and not killing them) to lend her name and popularity to bring awareness among the public not to torture the cattle and other animals.

A few years ago, Trisha came across a bleeding dog on the streets of Bangalore and promptly took it and put it in her car and took the next available flight back to Chennai.

The dog is now one of the 3-4 dongs that are being maintained by the actress. It could be that PETA zeroed in on Trisha after listening to the ‘dog’ story.
