Anushka Together With Actor Silambarasan

Silambarasan must be a happier person now. He has got the girl he wanted to cast in his next flick. Anushka, the girl in demand, has agreed to be a part of his next film, which would be a remake of Vedam from Telugu. There will be a song shot on them which is not there in the original.

Silambarasan is a big fan of Anushka and has confessed in all his interviews that she is his favourite actress. Anushka, the heroine of the original, was initially not keen about doing the Tamil version.

But sources close to the actress say that she gave the green signal after making sure that Krish the director who directed the original will direct the Tamil version.

Simbu is set to don the role of cable Raju played Allu Arjun in the original. Manoj (son of Mohan Babu) will play the same character he did in the original .

Hunt is on for a girl to play Simbu’s heroine (Anushka is no the pair to the hero but she plays the lead role just as Jyothika did in Chandramukhi). Santhanam is tipped to take the comedian’s role.

The film will be produced by Jithen Ramesh and VTV Ganesh. The movie will start rolling from July 10 in Chennai.
