Actress Khushboo Met Important Leaders In Ruling DMK

Actress Khushboo, who recently surprised many by aligning herself with the ruling DMK in the State in Kalaignar’s presence, met M.K. Azhagiri a couple of days ago. Azhagiri, the DMK strongman who has a stranglehold on Madurai and its surrounding areas, is also the Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers.

After joining the political outfit headed by Kalaignar, she met important leaders and functionaries of the party including Stalin, the deputy chief minister. She met Azhagiri, who had just returned from his tour abroad, at his Gopalapuram residence.

Azhagiri is said to have wished Khushboo good luck while welcoming her into the party fold. Dayalu Ammal, wife of Kalaignar, was present during the meeting of the actress with her son. Emerging from the meeting, Khushboo merely stated that she called on Azhagiri ‘just for the sake of courtesy’.
