Parvathy Omanakuttan's acting debut Umamaheswaram was launched in Chennai

After the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Yukta Mukhi, here comes one more beauty queen to Tamil cinema.

She is Parvathy Omanakuttan, whose acting debut Umamaheswaram was launched in Chennai on Monday. The Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2008, says she is happy about donning the greasepaint.

On the film, she says, 'it is a dance-based film. Director Nithin Ramakrishnan's script was so interesting and I am glued to it.' Prakash Raj is playing a pivotal role in this movie, while cinematography is by Madhu Ambat and editing by V T Vijayan.
