Vijay and his Velayudham team recently completed the shooting of a massive climax sequence in a cricket stadium in Kochi, Kerala.
According to sources, director Raja is leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand climax. Reportedly the scene involved almost 50,000 extras.
The team is expected to wrap up the entire shoot in 15 days.
A mass entertainer, Velayudham stars Genelia, Hansika, Saranya Mohan, Santhanam, M.S. Bhaskar, Sathyan, Pandirajan and Sayaji Shinde.
The film is produced by Aascar Ravichandran and Vijay Anthony is the music composer.
