Endhiran's Record Dubbing Rights

‘Mass and class’, this is what makes the difference between Shankar and other directors who direct big budget films. Those who direct generous budget films either don’t combine the mass elements it needs or cannot match the screenplay with the budget. There are plentiful such films in the past like Ratchagan, Aalavandan, etc.

Shankar’s magic has worked with “Endhiran” even before its release. The audio of the movie is breaking records all over the world. A week back it was in top charts as the number one album of Apple’s iTunes music store which none of the Tamil Films has reached so far.

Now, we hear that the dubbing rights of “Endhiran” in Telugu was sold at a record price. Titled as “Robo’, the dubbing rights have been bought for a whopping Rs. 30 Crores.

This is the biggest price for any dubbing movie in the Indian history. Hyderabad based Film Company ‘Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateswara Films’ has bought the rights. Srinivasa Rao, the owner of the company said that he believes the movie will do well and collect the money within one week after release.
