Bhavana Engaged With Karan Shah

On 15th August, unlike the rest of the country, two people swore dependence to each other. Love indeed springs odd surprises on you; Bhavana Balsaver hadn’t expected hers either. After 12 lovely long years of dating Karan Shah, Bhavana Balsaver took a short vacation to Goa with him. But she wasn’t prepared for what came next.

Bhavana recounts, “It was just a holiday in Goa. Karan suddenly proposed to me. It was completely impromptu. He organised this whole surprise for me. We actually went to Goa with some friends for a short vacation. In fact, I realised later that Karan got a lot of strangers to help him organise all that he did for our engagement.”

Karan’s surprise swept Bhavana off her feet. He took her blindfolded to a secluded area that had been pre-decorated with flowers. What followed was a string of pleasantries: music, champagne and finally the rings.

Bhavana is obviously pleased as punch and says, “We have been dating for over 12 years and now we have made it official by exchanging rings. What better place to do it than in Goa. Although the families were not present we have informed them and everyone is very happy.”

Is marriage on the cards then? Bhavana says, “It took me 12 years to get engaged to him, so I don’t know how much time I will take to get married.” No issues, Bhavana. Good things come to those who wait.
