Rajnikanth Becomes Ambassador Of The Himalayas

Superstar Rajnikanth is widely considered to be the unofficial ‘ambassador of the Himalayas’, thanks to the frequent trips he has made and has been making to the various holy places situated at the foothills of the mountain ranges. Taking cue from Rajnikanth, stars like Sarath Kumar, Vishal and Padmapriya have started making occasional trips to the Himalayas to seek a ‘place of solitude’.

Rumours have been afloat in Kollywood that Rajni might ultimately ‘settle down’ in the Himalayas by bringing up his own Ashram there. As if to add fuel to these rumours, the enigmatic Rajni is said reportedly purchased some lands at the foothills of Himalayas recently and got them properly registered in his name.

Why purchase land at Himalayas? Sources close to the star, who has been eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film ‘Enthiran: The Robot’, is planning to build a peaceful Ashram in the vicinity of the Himalayas where he or a group of sages would decide to ‘stay permanently’.

Would Rajni himself clear the air?
