Kalaipuli Dhanu Acquired The Regional Rights Of Magadheera

These days, Kalaipuli S Dhanu seems to have got himself away from the production of films and is vividly involved with film distribution.

Recently, Dhanu had acquired the regional rights of 'Milaga' and S.A. Chandrasekhar's 'Veluthu Kattu'. With both the films moderately doing well at box office, the producer-distributor has decided to release the dubbed version of the Telugu film 'Magadheera'.

'Magadheera' is directed by Tollywood's most successful filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and is produced by Geetha Arts. The film won laurels and the trade analysts marked this film as one of the decade's blockbusters. Now both Kalaipuli S Dhanu and the producers of the original version will work together and dub the film in Tamil titled 'Mannadhi Mannan'.

First, it was mentioned that filmmaker-actor Ravi Mariah has been signed to direct some additional sequences involving actor Vivek along with Ram Charan Teja. But the latest buzzes doing the rounds are that Kalaipuli Dhanu's son Kalaprabhu may take over that task. Another highlighting factor about the dubbed version is that ace screenwriter K. Bhagyaraj is being roped to pen the dialogues in Tamil.

Nonetheless, the closer sources of this unit remain closemouthed and have refrained from making any comments pertaining to this project.

Kalaprabhu made his debut directorial with 'Sakkarakatti' that was produced by his father Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
