Actor Vijay’s Political Entry Has Become An ‘Inevitable’ Thing
Actor Vijay’s father S.A. Chandrasekaran has opined that in the present political scenario in the State, his son’s political entry has become an ‘inevitable’ thing.
“Vijay has been laying the foundation for his entry into politics, as all his films have been great hits with the public (?!). As such, his foray into full-time politics has become an inevitable one; he’s just awaiting the opportune moment to take the plunge,” said SAC.
He added that he would soon be remaking the Rajni-starrer ‘Naan Sigappu Manithan’ (which released in the mid-eighties in which Rajni played a Robinhood), with Vijay playing the lead role. He would only be producing it and won’t be directing it, he informed.
“I have always believed in the script of my films rather than believing in the hero’s star-value. If a director believes in his script, he can cast any hero and deliver a hit film. I have always managed to convey some message through all my films. Film-making has become an easy task nowadays; the tough part is to make it reach the masses!
Some more of his old hit films are going to be re-made in future, he revealed.
