Politician Vijaykanth Is Leaving On A 20-Day Long Tour Of Hong Kong

Actor-turned-politician Vijaykanth is leaving on a 20-day long tour of Hong Kong and European countries for the twin purpose of shooting for ‘Virudhagiri’, which marks his directorial debut as well as to spend the vacation with his family members.

‘Virudhagiri’, in which Vijaykanth plays the lead role, is produced by his brother-in-law L.K. Sudeesh on behalf of the banner Captain Cine Creations. The film’s shooting began late last year but was halted mid-way due to the bye-elections that took place in the State and also because of the convening of the State Assembly, which was in Session in February-March.

The song sequences are likely to be shot in Hong Kong for around 10 days after which the actor would leave for an unspecified European country for holidaying with his family.

On the eve of leaving abroad, Vijaykanth held an ‘important’ meeting with the office-bearers of his political outfit. Sources say that some ‘significant’ decisions were taken at the meeting.
