Actress Simran is making a return to Kollywood as a producer

Simran, the erstwhile heartthrob of south Indian fans, is making a return to Kollywood, not as an actress, but as a producer! The talented and beautiful actress is said to be planning to produce Tamil films as well as television serials for small screen as she wants to settle down in Chennai rather than her hometown Mumbai.

Though she had tried to make a comeback with some significant roles in films like ‘Seval’, ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ and ‘Aindhaam Padai’, she is not being offered substantial roles by the directors. Accepting the reality, she is back in Chennai and is said to be in talks with leading channels to produce television serials for them.

She is also said to be willing to introduce her husband Deepak, a good-looking guy, as a hero in Tamil films for which she is ready to don the avatar of a producer.
