Kaavalan or Kaaval Kadhal or Kaavalkaran or whatever it will be, will not release for this Deepavali. The movie was previously planned for a Deepavali release but now Siddique has decided to release the movie in the month of December.
Though the shooting is in its final phase, Siddique does not want to hurry-burry to release the movie for the festival. Vijay fans all over have been expecting this movie very much since none of the star’s movies saw a big hit in the recent past.
Asin’s call-sheet for the movie is almost over but still there are song sequences left to be shot. The shooting took place at Karaikudi, Kumbakonam, and Vellore. The crew returned from Bangkok and now is ready to shoot the final phase at Kerala. Then the crew will again leave for some European countries to wield a song.
Though the Malayalam version, Bodyguard, did not have much commercial elements, it is necessary, rather compulsory and mandatory, for the director to add commercial elements while directing the film for Vijay. So, it obviously will take time for the director to complete the movie. Will the Siddique–Vijay “Friends” magic be recreated? Wait till December to know the same! It is equally hoped that they still are “Friends”.
