Actress Divya Spandana Has Joined The Congress Party

Top Kannada actress Divya Spandana who has done successful films in Tamil like Vaaranam Aayiram, Polladhavan and the recent Singam Puli has joined the Congress party.

Divya Spandana tweeted- "I became a member of the Congress party. Right now I don’t have any intention to enter active politics. I have joined the Youth Congress because it is the party of youth."

Divya feels : "I thought there was no point in cribbing about corruption and other issues. If a person like Anna Hazare at the age of 78 years can fight against corruption, we the youth should be in the forefront. I thought the best way was to join politics."
