Tollywood Is Hard Working-SRK
Shah Rukh Khan recently asked his followers on Twitter: "Please do send in suggestions for one thing u would want to see different in Indian films & please constructive ideas not just inane thrashing". The actor was keen to know what his fans feel about B'wood and what difference did they want to see in our movies. Given the lakhs of followers the superstar has on the networking site, it must have been quite a task for him to keep track of the suggestions.
If such a change comes about in Tollywood too, and if actors begin to worry about what exactly the audiences want, it won't be long before we get to see some quality films in Tollywood as well, says actor Sneha Ullal. "The Tollywood industry is hard working and the actors put in their blood, sweat and tears into making a movie. SRK's Twitter trick would work very well here as fans in the South are crazy about their stars. It's time the Telugu film industry takes a cue from King Khan and takes feedback from fans seriously," Sneha adds.An industry like Tollywood, which is known for movie hysteria, could work wonders if only the movie makers and actors worked in tandem with the audiences. And social networking platforms are best for this, agrees Bhumika Chawla."Today youngsters, corporate employees and film buffs have taken a liking for meaningful cine ma. They are bored with `mass' films. They want to see good content. They are looking for a change so they will surely give their bit of sugges tions," she adds.
