I Am Ready To Act In Tamil Films-Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan had never acted in other language films. Many tried to make him act in other language films, but he never gave heed to them. But for the first time he had agreed to act in the film Kandahar directed by Major Ravi. During the shooting in Ooty, he gave a small interview to the media.

How do you feel acting in another language film for the first time?

Story is important. It can be any language. Mohanlal and Major Ravi have been speaking to me about this film for the last one year. I liked the story very much. They told me that I would be very much suitable for this role. That is the reason I agreed to do this role.

Can we expect you in a Tamil film?

I have come to Chennai many times. But it was different for me to act in a South Indian language for the first time.

Will you act in Tamil films?

I am ready to act in Tamil films. But the story is important to me. In this film I have acted speaking in Hindi. Mohanlal also acted speaking in Hindi. Because of this language was no barrier for me.
