Mani Ratnam has called off his plan to participate IIFA in Sri Lanka

Ace director Mani Ratnam has called off his earlier plan to screen his forthcoming trilingual Raavan (Raavana in Tamil) at the 11th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), scheduled to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from June 3 to 5.

Speaking at a function in Chennai, he said that the post-production work of the film is not over so neither the film nor he would he participate in the event. But reportedly, Aishwarya Rai, the leading lady of Raavan, will take part in the event next month.
