Music Director Chandrabose Passed Away
Popular music director Chandrabose, who composed music for more than 300 movies between late 1980s and early 1990s, passed away in Chennai this morning.
According to sources, he was not keeping well for sometime now and was admitted to a hospital recently. "His condition worsened a couple of days ago and he breathed his last in the wee hours of today", they added.
Chandrabose shot to fame scoring music for several movies produced by AVM including Rajinikanth starrer ’Manidhan’ and ’Raja Chinna Roja’.
The song ’Superstaru yarunnu kettaa’ became a chartbuster and is still one of the favourites of Rajini fans.
The music composer’s work in films such as ’Paati Sollai Thattadhey’, ’Anna Nagar Mudhal Theru’ and ’Maanagara Kaaval’ won appreciations from many. Veterans of film industry have expressed shock over Chandrabose’s demise.
