Endhiran, which is a 190 cr project is said to create a record in the Indian Tamil film industry. Director Shanker, Rajnikanth, Aishwarya Rai, Shriya, Ramya Krishnan Silambarasan, Vadivelu, Aishwarya Rajinkanth and Soundarya Rajinkanth, other film dignitaries were present on the audio release function of on July 31st, 2010 at Putrajaya Stadium which is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Music director AR Rehman has composed the music for this film and the music will be surely a highlight for the film.
The music release was grandly organized and THINK MUSIC has bagged the music rights for Rs 7 crores. ENDHIRAN will release in Telugu, with the title of ‘Yantram’ and in Hindi, the title of this magnificent movie will be ‘ROBOT’ and VENUS music has bagged the music rights for this film for Hindi language.ENDHIRAN has a total of 7 songs and the music review is as follows:
1.Puthiya Manidha – this is a song which has been penned by Vairamuthu and the song has been sung by SP Balasubramanian, AR Rehman and Khatija Rehman(daughter of AR Rehman). The song is a 6 minute 11 seconds song and is a futuristic number which has a technical mixed response and is probably the introduction song, which praises the ROBOT.
2.Kadhal Anukkal- this song is a sun by Shreya Ghoshal and Vijay Prakash and is a 5 minute 46 seconds number with Vairamuthu penning the lyrics. The song is a poetic themed song with Guitar strumming and has some fast beats in the background score. The song has been beautifully composed, with all the technicalities sprinkled by Rehman.
3.‘Irumilae Oru Indhyam is the third song in the film and is a 5 minute 15 seconds number. Kaarki Kash n Krisyy have penned the song and the song had been sung by the lyricist and the music director. This song is a heart touching song and is probably tuned to let out the emotions of the robot. The English lyrics are excellent and like a snoopy pizza topping, of this westernized number.
4.Chitti dance is the fourth song, which has been sung by Pradeep Vijay, Praveen Mani and Yogi B. Praveen Mani has penned the lyrics for this song and is a 2 minute 44 seconds number. This song is an English rap, which will enlighten the mindsets of the characters in this film.
5.Arima Arima is a song penned by Vairamuthu and has been sung by Hariharan and Sadhana Sargam. The song is a 5 minute 19 seconds in length. This song will highlight the thinking capabilities of the characters.
6.“ Khilamanjaro” – this song is penned by pA Vijay and has been sung by Javed Ali and chinmayi. This is a tribal beats song and the song will easily make us feel the picturization , with Superstar in lead.
7.“ Boom boom Roboda”- this song is a Kaarki penned song and is 4 minutes 28 seconds in length. Yogi B, Keerthi Sagathia, swetha menon, Tanvi shah has sung this song. This is a fast beat number and is a message oriented song.
