Aishwarya Rai Joined Nadigar Sangam

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan has finally decided to fall in line and become a member of Nadigar Sangam. The Sangam’s Secretary and actor Radharavi appealed to the actress almost directly at the audio-launch of ‘Enthiran: The Robot’ held in Malaysia last month to become a member of the Sangam.

Aishwarya had been acting in Tamil films for a long time now, right from her debut in Manirathnam’s ‘Iruvar’ to her latest ‘Enthiran: The Robot’, directed by Shankar. After her debut, she made it very big in Bollywood and hence her presence in Tamil films has drastically reduced. This may be the reason for her not getting enrolled as a member of the Sangam.

However, Radharavi had made it clear that ‘whoever’ failed to enroll themselves as members of the Sangam by August 15th won’t get any cooperation from the Sangam and its affiliated bodies after the stipulated date.

Aishwarya has accepted this and had reportedly told Sangam’s office-bearers to fill-up her enrolment form and send it over to her Mumbai residence so that she could sign it and hand it back to them during her next visit to Chennai.
