I Will Join AIDMK And Meet Jayalalitha-Roja

Roja was making stir in Andhra Pradesh political arena. Now her sight has once again fallen on the cinema side. She is making a re-entry through the Tamil film Kavalkaran which has Vijay in the lead role. Recently while speaking to the media she said,” Basically I am an actress.

I was away from cinema because of the recent elections in Andhra Pradesh. Now I am relaxed and when I got this offer, I agreed to act. Though I was born in Andhra, only Tamil Nadu gave me the identity.

Since I wanted to do something to the State I was born, I joined Telugu Desam. But people who could not bear my growth made me loose in the elections. They gave me so much trouble even without bothering that I am a woman.

Those who could not go against me in the political field indirectly gave me trouble. Because of this I was very much depressed. However I am still working for the welfare of the people. With regard to Kushboo entering politics I am really happy. But politics is different and cinema is different.

After joining politics you can’t take rest as you like. We have to roam from place to place in the hot sun and reach the people. Kushboo use this chance to help the women folks. Many are asking me whether I will join AIDMK and meet Jayalalitha. If they give due importance and call me then we will see.”
